Visit Utah’s 5 National Parks in 5 Days

Utah is home to beautiful cities, world-class ski resorts, and gorgeous mountain ranges. With so much to see, it’s hard to know where to begin. At Affordable Rent-A-Car and Sales in Salt Lake City, we recommend spending time in the national parks. We’ve created an itinerary to help you see Utah’s five national parks in five days.

1. Zion

Begin your trip in the heart of Utah: Salt Lake City. We offer a full fleet of affordable rental cars, vans, trucks, and SUVs to transport you the 300 miles to Zion National Park. There are plenty of amazing stops along the way, but don’t drag your feet: Kolob Canyons, Canyon Overlook, and the Zion Human History Museum are waiting for you.

2. Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon is home to the world’s largest display of gorgeous, colorful hoodoos. The park boasts 14 breathtaking overlooks and numerous hiking trails. Sunrise offers the best views of the rocks’ vibrant colors.

3. Capitol Reef

For a taste of pioneer life, the Fruita Rural Historic District in Capitol Reef is the destination of choice. The Reef is one of the least known and most remote of Utah’s national parks. Inside the park, you will find the 100-mile long Waterpocket Fold, brick-red Moenkopi towers, white Navajo Sandstone domes, and green mountain viewpoints.

4. Canyonlands

Canyonlands National Park is the largest and least developed of the five parks. If you only have one day to spend here, you must see the Island in the Sky. The Grand View Point Overlook gives you a gorgeous view of red rock canyons as far as the eye can see.

5. Arches

Arches National Park comes by its name honestly: it contains the highest density of stone arches per square mile in the world. The Delicate Arch is the most famous, but there are more than 2,000 others to enjoy. We also recommend a tour through Fiery Furnace, a maze of sandstone fins that only a park ranger can navigate.

Come Visit!

Utah’s National Parks most definitely will take your breath away. From sunrise to sunset, the beauty of the rock formations and canyons truly is stunning.  To make the trek, you need a reliable, affordable vehicle. Call our staff at Affordable Rent-A-Car at (801) 266-7368 to make a reservation at our main office or SLC airport location.
